End of Year Show – Day 2

So day two essentially started off where day one left off. The wall was completed, the plaster board was put on and cups of tea were made. :-)

Jim’s drill once again was whipped into action, although this time it was.. mixing it up a little. (Oh dear, excuse the pun.)

After a good long day’s plastering, the final result of the new wall is superb. The overall finish is as smooth as anything, you could run your hand over it for days and not find a missed spot. :-D

Exactly how long it took, I’m not sure of but it was a good few hours! That said, while the wall was being plastered, the studio got moved about a little. By a little, I literally mean a little. The lockers got moved from by the door to the back of the room as to be hidden. The wood that was there is now where the lockers were and all the chairs got moved out except for a couple so people can still use the machines that are dotted around.

Tomorrow, all the Mac’s should be put away in super secret hiding locations (shh, don’t tell anyone where were hiding them!), the wall in the studio should be at least put up somewhat close to 99% done and the rest of the studio cleared.

Overall a productive day by everyone. Also, the projector situation got sorted out too. A good number of people agreed that once the projector in the room was rotated and projected on the new wall, it was dead tiny in comparison to the wall built for it. Also the alignment and stuff was off which kinda made things look weird. That said, a new projector was found and is all set to run once the room is complete. Just a case of putting it in and calibrating it and voila.

Adios peeps.
